This one was pretty easy, actually. Took the Librarian from the DV set (as I already have another, plus Ezekiel, and a couple of Termi Librarians), cut both his front and back halves at the waist, and then mounted his torso on one of the DV bikers. I had to steal a shoulder pad and extra set of handlebars from the RW Black Knight box, because I thought he needed to have at least one hand on the bike (and I'd used the other left hand handlebars on the Plasma Gun biker.) I used some greenstuff to fill in the gaps between the two halves.

I did the exact same thing. I was going to put a sheathed sword on the fairing, so there can be no complaints he hasnt got it

That's not a bad idea, if I can find an appropriate spot to mount it. Or you could just say he left it in the body of the last guy he killed, and now he's "force pulling" it back into his hand.

It turned out to be easier than I expected. I was going to use my dremel but couldn't find it. Fortunately, since the torso is hollow and in two pieces, it was not too hard to xacto cut him at the waist. Mostly just tricky trying to get his odds and ends around his waist to match up nicely with the legs on the bike.

Yeah, I'll try to take some tonight or tomorrow. I was having a hard time getting good light at the other angels. Also going to prime it soon, which I think will help cover up some of the green stuff (which I haven't used in years and wasn't that good with in the first place.)

Thanks for the compliment.

I wonder how Seraphicus would look on a bike... I thought about doing him, and even a techmarine on a bike, but I honestly can't imagine why you'd want to field a chaplain in this codex, except for fluff reasons. The librarian, Azreal and Sammael would all be better for a Ravenwing army.

I may do another conversion tonight to put together a Techmarine. Mobile repair/power field would be handy, especially since you could also attach him to those small Ravenwing command squads.

Here are some more shots of the librarian on the bike, from different angles.

And here's his comrade-in-power-arms, a techmarine on a bike. He is built from the bike and legs of one of the DV bikers (the one with the bolt pistol), some torso bits I had left over, plus a techmarine head and shoulderpad leftover from one of the DA upgrade sprues. The backpack is from a Space Wolf techmarine -- it's the only spare servo arm I had. I modelled him with a floating servo skull to represent his power field -- if I opt not to take it, I just leave the skull and post off (it's not glued in).

That's a great idea for a bike Librarian. Thanks for the tip.

:: checks date :: Oh, good... not Threadomancy.

These are excellent conversions, and exactly what i was looking for (I have two DV sets, and have no reason to have two Librarians).

Was wondering if that conversion was possible if someone (ie me) didn't have green stuffing skills. Looks great, thanks for posting!

The green stuffing was minor, and I have no major GS skills. In fact, the GS I was using was over ten years old to boot. I basically just made a blob of it, attached it to the waste of the biker legs (which are built into the bike on Dv bikers), and then put the upper body on it. Most of the GS blob filled in the gaps in the upper body, and I just smoothed away some of the GS that came out around the sides.

Really, the biggest challenge for this figure was getting the waist decorations on the legs and the upper body not to conflict.

If you've still got the parts leftover from the conversion, putting them together looks pretty good.

He needs some cleanup, but I like it too much to be just a standard squad seargeant, think it'll have to be a character.
