This is my war boss I've painted him to suit a muddy ditch fight against the space marine scum.

Looks good but it doesn't really pop. Try to use some brighter colors for highlights so it really comes to life. Waagh on!

Looking good so far. The skin definitely needs some highlights though.
Also unbased models don't belong in showcase.

I'm not clear whether the baseis finished; looks like a muddy effect and mud on his boots?
Overall a pretty nice, dirty and gritty take on the model.

Looking good , dig the dark skin tones, works well.

Personally, I like the muddy, muted colors. I think the absence of bright colors provides a welcome change from the typical ork. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, this just happens to be a deviation that works because it isn't overdone.) I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet, but you may want to drill out your gun barrel (and be prepared for a never ending barrage of requests for you to do so until you relent). I also was under the impression that the base was supposed to be a muddy ditch sort of scene, in which case I think a tiny bit of basing scenics would go a long way to conveying that. (A lump of green stuff, with an ork bootprint in it, painted the same as the rest of the mud, would work wonders, I think.)

I like the base, I think it is a representation of the rusted floor of a space hulk. I dig it.
Some touch-ups on the shoota and this grim-dark warboss is good to go.
