O-12 is the governing organization of the Human Sphere and it's personnel are the among the finest individuals humanity has to offer.

Guidelines:
This is a similar idea to the Great Marine Swap thread and the rules are simple.
The 'Operatives' in the list below are Dakka users who are participating in the program with a link to their painted Infinity miniatures.
If you wish to be added to the list to take part then post a link to your Infinity blog, showcase or gallery.
If you like someone's work you can send them a private message to arrange a trade.
Once you have both agreed to the trade you should post it in this thread.
You each paint a model in the style of your own force and post them to each other to complete the trade.
Feel free to post images of your work in progress and/or the models you receive.

Advanced Options:
You may wish to arrange trades where models will represent O-12 Operatives. A simple way to do this are by painting the O-12 icon somewhere on the miniature but feel free to use your imagination.
You may wish to arrange to leave bases blank so that you can add this detail to the miniature you receive. This can tie the other persons miniature into your own force for display or if you wish to use it in games.
Some users like to write fluff to accompany a miniature.

Safety and Courtesy:
You may want to use the Swap Shop Rules as a guide.
Take care when trading with very new forum members or those acting suspiciously.
Try to limit the amount of trades you have in progress at one time.
Be polite to each other in all circumstances.
You do not need to accept a trade if you do not wish to.
Users have many good reasons not to accept a trade so don't be dettered to ask someone else.

I would love to enter, but i have zero painting skills and as of a few weeks from now potentially no free time either.....can i be a spectator instead?

I say let everyone else decide how good your painting is! They'll vote with their trade offers but you don't have to accept so no embarrassment if someone has the least trades or whatever.

And since there is no problem in turning down a trade then you can have your name up there even if you don't have time normally.

I should probably write something like that^ in the OP.


Oh and if you really would rather spectate then subscribe away and you can be a Bureau Aegis Supervisor or something.

Mathieu, any which way works. I think the GMS guys tend to post WIPs as they go and a final picture then at some stage the recepient might post a picture of the model when it arrives. It's not a rule though, go with what suits you or maybe discuss it with your trade partner.

Well here is it. Sorta. I just can't get my camera to focus on the O-12 symbol correctly, but it is as close to the one in the OP as I can possibly make it.

Aww, man you're gonna make me look bad when i can't paint the O-12 logo! The model is so teeny tiny that there is only one place to put it, well maybe two! But he's looking good.

Saaweet! That's brilliant. I'm going to get little decals made eventually and just apply them to any trades I get, that way I can keep them uniform. Plus there is no way I could paint that small.

I've had a think and I'm pming you now Blue.

My fiancee gave me this set of jewelers' magnifying glasses last year. Aside from the fact that they screw with my depth perception and I have to move fast, they are pretty awesome.

Well, i already now what the colour scheme is I thought the idea was that the final pictures would be posted once the model was recieved?

Yeh either way works. Everyone should choose which way they want to do it. With the GMS some of the guys post their final model so the recepient can ask for slight changes or whatever. Personally, I'm with you. Waiting til the model is received is more exciting.

Good call! Mine has dark brown so i might go with black for a bit of variety.

As for the base coats, lots! The reddy brown is some GW Terracota in one of the old old round flip top pots. I assume they don't have a terracota paint anymore because they can't trademarkise it! The browny brown is GW Bestial Brown. The lighter brown is Revell Aqua Color Erdfarbe. The green is Rackham Mutant Flesh and the flesh is Foundry Buff Leather. Then a mix of GW, Revell and Foundry colours for some of the smaller bits like guns etc.
