Hi, I've recently started playing Warmachine. I'd like to add the character Sylys Wyshnalyrr to my tundra combat themed battlegroup. However, I find the sculpt for the stock model rather static, and quite awkwardly posed. The image is attached.

If anyone can suggest a similar looking elf creature but with a more natural pose, I'd greatly appreciate it. The character is a sage; an advisor rather than a combatant. Perhaps he's walking gracefully or standing deep in thought. He probably has flowing robes, or maybe furs against the cold. He has no weapons apart from a staff, although a sword that could be swapped out would be fine. Small items of futuristic or steam punk tech could be a bonus.

Thanks for your help :-)

That's a great suggestion, thanks. The cape is really nice. Perhaps he looks a little more hunched than I was imagining, but definitely one to consider.

Not a fantastic photograph here of a mage I converted into a Spiritseer, but you can see how versatile and easy to convert he is (centre of image):

Wow, great conversion. The shiny helmet really makes the piece. I had considered that figure, but you've shown he can look great in a more advanced setting. I'm reconsidering him now.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I eventually decided on this one:

I finally got the parts I needed for this conversion.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Looks really good. And the longer cloak looks much better than the strange long sleeved leather boots from the original model.

Will you add something over his mouth like the original model had? Because it might work well in combination with the straps your model has on his chest.

Looking really nice. You're dead right about the official figure, what is that weird hip plate supposed to be anyway?

Thanks guys, I'm really pleased with this figure. btldoomhammer, I'm not going to do the straps as I think his face looks pretty cool unmasked. I made him a cape though.

Kid_Kyoto, no one knows what his strange side saddle is for. Some people cover it up with pouches, etc. There have been a number of arguably humourous suggestions. I'm happy not to have it
