I appreciate the not-WS isn't up yet, though some of the not-Tau stuff is.

Move over Raging heroes! These are the true not-sisters (can they even be called not-sisters of battle when they're even sole as "Battle sisters Sororitas" )

They even have reasonable footware and not even boob-windows or such silliness!

While they quite obviously look like they're stepping on a few IP-toes, that goes for a lot of their existing stuff as well (including previous battle-sister models), and those hasen't gotten taken down yet so perhaps GW don't bother getting embroiled in these legal battles anymore.

It they haven't taken action against the Tau or eldar stuff, I wonder if they will for the Sisters. It's not like GW has cared much for their own sisters line in the last decade or so anyway.

EDIT:
Those battlesisters aren't sold through Wargame Exclusive though (not yet at least). It's from some russian dude. But they do have the WE feel to them for sure.
This seller have been selling *possibly* recast forgeworld stuff for a long time so I don't think the store is going down anytime soon due to these. If you can survive having products like "20 Stormtrooper heads Star Wars 28mm" up without being killed by the Disney legal team, I think you're safe selling some Sisters of battle knockoff.

Y'know you're right, and @#$% it's an obvious recaster too.

Which means two things, gotta take down the link, and I gotta give myself 10 minutes in the agony booth.

That seller IS a recaster.. but.. are those sisters actual recasts? I haven't been keeping up with SoB and was unaware they had a multipart kit to have recasts of.
Also strange that those are bid only instead of BiN..

In any case, they're not recasts of any GW models.

Some of the other products from that seller (Forgeworld bits and characters) are *probably* recasts though.

Some of their kits feature unauthorized recasts of 15mm figures from Ground Zero Games. It's a shame too, I like some of their (afaik) original kits.

Are those samurai Tau ready to be released?

That may be what finally gets me to pull the trigger on making an order to Wargames Exclusive

Hello, new cadre fireblade.I always found the official one to be kind of chunky-looking.

The jetbike-like things are cool, but I can't figure out what they're supposed to used for. Stick both on one base an play as a piranha? Still, can't argue with new 3rd party stuff for tau.

From what I gather, they're working on additional poses (including non-combat ones like praying), Retributors, Seraphim, and some other things. I just don't know how to go about begging them desperately for it or tracking their progress. If someone wants to make a thread about it, please do.

WGE has posted on their FB page that they're doing a contest. You write a little fluff description in the comment of one of three images for the Tau minis (O'Katana, Big Shas, and Gunslinger) and if they select it as a winner, it'll go up on the website in the mini's description. As compensation, you win one of the minis. Three minis to win, and so far I only see one submission. Results announced June 3.

That Tau model looks suspiciously like a digital painting as opposed to an actual mini, something about the way it stands on the base just looks off...

Nice though!

I thought the same thing when I first saw it, and still think it actually. Compared to the color granularity and tones on the base it is super bright and even, including on the undersides of the legs. Possibly it is just painted to look like that, but I suspect it is a digital painting over a picture of the render. You can see the granules and texture of the base lip clearly, but nothing on the model itself, for instance.

I had a debate with female friends about whether or not the others from the range I have are sexist. The unanimous verdict was tiny waist and big hips are ridiculous pinups. Then I showed my warriors... equally small waist, but hips, because, you know, Necrons. So they started going on about boob size... some people are never happy.
