Hi guys following ion from last week i have some up with some paint schemes for my new chapter and wondered what you guys thought? Please note that they only have a single base coat no highlights washes etc so please do not judge them as finished paint jobs. Any suggestions or ideas would be fantastic . Thanks in advance . dreadfultom

I like the yellow/brown one the most followed by the purple/beige.
The first one would need some warm color as contrast to the colder grey and blue.

I'd go with the purple/beige one as the blue and yellow ones are too ultramarine and imperial fist 'ish. But in the end do what you like most. But keep in mind that yellow is a pain to paint.

And i probably don't need to tell you that your basecoat needs another layer.

all the purple ones clash hardcore in my eyes
but the yellow and brown one looks great

Purple + red is a clash.
I used purple and yellow for my own ones.

Unforgiven? These guys look pretty chirpy for Sons of the Lion.

But I'm partial towards the Brown/Dark Brown scheme. It could look pretty ominous, sorta like 'the Endless Crusade against the Fallen' thang.

I have a minor comment though - and this is purely subjective and my own opinion - but I don't like the fact that model #1 is sporting the 'robed 'legs but the 'unrobed' torso. I think it makes him look like he's wearing a dress or a sarong.. :-p

right guys cheers for the feedback. the models were only really
mock ups and will now be put aside for some proper painting. I have decided that the blue and grey scheme will be used for a librarian only with a bone instead of grey. Purple armour and red robes will be used for the rank and file troopers will purple and bone as the scheme for officers . As i am not making this to game with i will use the yellow and brown scheme as a separate assault/death company type unit. Thanks to everyone for posting i will keep you up to date with my progress. I have started an idea with my local store and we will be trying to get the painted miniature into armies on parade. Once again thanks to all.dreadfultom

Purple and red are clashing like HairySticks said. But if you still want to go with that combination. You might consider using a very dark red. This might be better for the eye.
