hey all
I always loved the feel of the nids and the newer big bugs are so great I needed to get back into 40k at one point.
I painted them getting inspired by some bugs you can find trying to keep it as simple and quick as possible but without looking too cartoony.

manage to kinda machine line 6 mousrous creatures in about a month, they turned out pretty good I think,
what do you guys think?

Looking good. I really like the subtle reds on the wings and other parts and the yellow edged armor plates. And the blue around the head is also in nice color.
But i think that the blue on the fifth picture might be a little bit to bright especially on the bonesword and the horns on his head.

But other that that very good execution.

really nice job, I like the conversion to the swarmlord, it give him a very armored look.

I will be redoing the blue effect on the bonesword of the smaller flyrant, the effect didnt come out as well as I had hoped, might try again or just bring it back to bone colour.
the blue is kinda suppose to stand out a bit as all the psykers will have a blue effect arround the eyes and head, the swarmlord, being the strongest psycker in the army has blue even in his mouth. all other non-psyckers have red eyes like the trygons
