After seeing the new pictures from the upcoming codex it inspired me so start a tau Army. I immediately went to work getting my hands on what tau I could. A good friend of mine sold me his tau and I got to work.

This Devilfish was pre built and already primed black.

C&C is welcome.

Nice looking model. The way the vents are painted really gives the piece a nice dynamic. Good work

Love the engine glow! As others have said, edge highlighting will really take this up to the next level.

Really like the the subtleness of the colors and a nice clean paint job. The engine intakes and vents are nicely done and the interior parts give it a sweet look. Hope to see more soon.

I like the engines and vents but I dunno, might be because its a huge model but the large areas look a bit bland? Sounds harsh but just callin' it like I'm thinking

Bar that nice work

Just out of curiosity how is it annoying?

Yeah, the one reason why I didn't put decals on it is because I don't have any. I'll work on getting some to spice it up a bit.

And everyone thank you, I hope to be getting more painted this week before the upcoming codex.

I'll do my best to post as I complete them.

Very nice neat paint job, just the colors are kinda muted, I might suggest a bit more of the purple on various panel areas to offset the main greyish colors, like the tops of the drones, or even a 2 tone angular camo pattern on the main hull area, with perhaps a darker grey and a lighter purple.

Just suggestions of course, otherwise keep up the fine work young Shas'la, and welcome to the fight.

I think that looks great, and the colors are just fine.
Clean paint job.

My only offer would be to darken the panel lines a bit more, that will help to make the colors pop.
