I'm still pretty new to painting, so I'm looking for some help on this Warboss. I know he is tabletop game ready, but I'd like to go beyond. Any tips are welcome. There terrain in the picture is not mine.

Two quick and easy tips that will make your model look way better:
1. Drill out holes for the guns barrels
2. Use red ink (from an old red pen or something similar) for blood on the claw, or anything else bloody for that matter (takes quite a while to dry though).
These two tips should help make him look at least a bit better. But as an earl piece, it is really good, far better than some of my early attempts

3. Basing Gravel, dust, grass, anything.

This is looking good already

Drill barrels

Rust up his metal stuff, stipling brown then oranges in top. Can make a orange/brown wash and wash around bolts rivets etc creates nice stains/pooling.

Base him. (Ballast sand whatever, with some tufts/static grass or urban elements.. Or heck something unique like a puddle of pee and a scares grot

Give his feets some weathering (bone color for instance super lightly dry brushed)
