Here is the bulk of my 40k army, painted to tabletop quality.

There are a few simple conversions in there (mostly head or weapon swaps) and also options for characters and vehicles that are magnetised but not pictured. The kitbashed chalpain has magnetised weapons and backpacks, and I have alternate weapons for the biker captain as well. The dark vengeance minis that I've used have had most of the DA iconography removed and i'm just waiting for some more of the FW brass etch to add that scorpion flavour to them.

The army looks very well done, especially since it's only for table-top quality. The highlighting is really helpful in bringing out the colours. One thing though, do the white helmets have highlighted detail on them?

The white helmets were all painted white, then lined with vallejo black ink and then cleaned up with white again. When I take the close ups of the tanks, I will get some terminator close ups too.

All together I think it's about 3300. It gives me lots of options for 1750 games which is the norm in my meta. It's going to jump to 3700 shortly as I'm working on Culln and another squad of assault terminators.

It's been a while since i've added anything to this army but here's the latest. I traded some of the DV chaos stuff for this cannon (without techmarine) and boy was it in a bad state. It's a finecast one that had been assembled but hadn't been cleaned up properly. Lots of flash still on it, severe warpage, and pieces that were badly fitting in the first place, were just glued on as best they could in roughly the right place. Also there were a few missing pieces to boot.

I tried freezing it to tear it down and clean it up as best i could, but the finecast was fragile and bits were just snapping off, so i did the best i could anyway and it looks much better than before.

Here are some assault centurions I added to my army.

And a transport for them.

I magnetised all the weapon options for it.

And then, since I was on a roll with the magnets I decided to finish off the weapons for my dread as well. Still painting the multi-melta and missile launcher arms which I have scratch built/kit bashed.

Lastly for just now, I attended my first tournament earlier this year which asked for you to bring objective markers, so I put these together a few days beforehand.

More drop pods and dreads incoming so watch this space.

Lovely army, might I ask how you achieved such a nice yellow on your Assault Centurions?

The yellow is actually the old foundation paint iyanden dark sun washed with gryphonne sepia.

That was before the new codex hit. Now he's either Culln the chapter master (with the blade of the scorpion and the master-crafted stormbolter) or just a generic chapter master with hammer and shield. I magnetised him too for swapping that loadout.

I use Iron Hands ct's mainly, army wide fnp rather than just the tac squads, in an effort to remain slightly fluffy.

Todays update is my pair of ironclads. Liberal use of the FW Red Scorpions decal sheet was applied. I also went back and added some to my venerable dread and it's weapons.
