I'd had this reaper model for a while,and wanted a break from doing 40k stuff,and i've been wanting to work on basing/scenery stuff.
For the fence i used pieces of sprue filed to a point, and some thin copper wire. A piece of cork for the tombstone, and some coarse sand for the rest. Then I primed black and then dusted withgrey spray, and then finally a light spray of white from an angle to get a little bit of pre-shading going.Hopefully I'll have time tonight to start laying down some basecoat.

Cool, with in fact so little you did achieve a good atmosphere I think. I only think the copper wire seems a tad out of place.. but maybe it won't bother anymore when all is painted

Very cool, cant wait to see it done. I agree that the wire does look at tad out of place, but I think when its all said and done it will be fine and wont grab the eye like it does now.
