For the last few month, I'd been move around my country for work (military). I order a few FW model and my Iron Warriors army get smash when you army is in a tool box in a car for 3000 km (viva Canadian roads). Now is time to glue everything and paint.... and i'm not so good.

So are you re-painting this army or just glueing it back together after the long road?

Yep, the bad roads did to some part to fall (guns and arms) and some scratch on some metallic minis. I have around 25 minis to glue again and improve around 50 minis.

The glue didn't stick well. Many arms and heads felt.

After a week of gluing and shopping for a box, I found the perfect box for my army... and some bloodletters I repaired

I praise your patience and care. If that much damage happened to me I have no idea when I would sum up the courage required to start fixing my models.

That was more easy than I thought. I had around 90 models (CSM and Bloodletters), 2 dreads, 6 tanks. on my 90 models, half where damaged and was easy to fix. Only 3 will give me hard time when i will be ready to fix them (plastic and metal don't stick well).

Raining day, got bored Base coat done.... mmmm i don't think my writing english is improving..

Work a little bit today. Finished some bloodletters and the herald. Time to start the big guy.

The heat was high in Saguenay the last week. Working hard and not in the mood to paint. But I was working a little on other models and trying to work with the green stuff and filling some gaps.

My love and hate relationship with FW models. Always fighting for having all the parts fitting together. I had some models ready to spay and paint and some other need a lot of work. My scythed hierodule have so many gape between parts (legs, arms, head) that I must learn how to work with the green stuff and sculpt it. Hope i will do a good job.

Good luck mate :( It's so frustrating when you are pumped about a miniature, you just can't wait to have it assembled and then it doesn't fit correctly and you have to spend that extra time trying to correct it. Let's hope for the best!

Tyranid Prime I did last year and in a way, that was the beginning of my army I never really work seriously until I ordered my Scythed Hierodule. A little kitbash but work a lot for a Prime.

Those FW dreads are so awesome I love when someone shares theirs fully painted.

You did some conversions to him, right? The lamps on top of his shoulders, I don't recognize those from the FW's images.

I work a lot those last weeks and my mind is not set to paint and more for a big model. If I work on it half a hour each day, it will be over soon.

Those paint pots bring me back - are they really really old RT / 2nd ed era paints or are they new-runs of whatever company used to make them?

6 Shrike with devourer and barbed (3 done, 3 to paint)

Heavy
Carniflex (must buy 2 to 4)

This is quite an interesting list for nids. It doesn't include any of the typical "must haves" or tourney auto-takes. Just curious on why you chose to field this army?

This army started when the IA4 when out. For the Malenthrope, I just love at the time the sneaky style and the IA update made it a brood, that was a better cheap HQ.
The Mieotic Spores, if the dices role, are a good MEQ killer and at the time of the IA4, they can kill flyers (not anymore)
I like warriors and stealers but the 6ed made it bad for now. I didn't want to use the termagaunts spam because I just don't like it and is not challenging and if I go in that way, i will overflow the table with 180 of them and 90 gargoyles.

I knew my army is weak (not enough troops for holding objectives) but force the opponent to think his deployment and I enjoy that... Feel free to try it.
