Nicely done. Great line work, nice highlights, and good color choices. I must say though, that background really drew me into the picture. It made the model look alive.

Stunning.

The red is beautiful: the shading and highlighting are extremely smooth and superbly done while the over-all tone is bright without being cartoony.
The markings are all very well done and true to the Codex.
Colors are balanced and compliment each other very well (in fact, it's the exact same color palette I use for BA: red, black, green, blue, yellow, purple, steel, and bone with very limited uses of gold and brown).

Honestly love it.

: Because I'm sure as hell not going all the way over there to kill you.

This is what I call a good paint job. Nothing special, everything has been given care, great highlights, complementary colours and good contrast.

The only thing I have to say is that your basing is bland. Give it some more attention than just a bit of static grass. Maybe some sand or 1 or 2 rocks. In my opinion does a base make or break the model.

I'm gonna go on record and say that I love this model, clean and simple, it looks great!

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

I agree with this. The painting's very nice, but the model as a whole would look even better with a little more attention to the base.

I feel the exact same. The model is sooo good. The base really detracts from the detail.

There are actually two errors that I noticed: First the squad marking on the knee; a skull on a black background, is a first squad marking, a tactical squad. Unless of course this was a sergeant of the 9th company. However...
The company marking on the model; two white blood drops is 7th company, a reserve company. 7th company is of course comprised entirely of tactical squads.

Wrong squad, wrong company.

That is one great looking model, although (like others) I would like a base that has a bit more detail. The pose is very cool, I really like that background, it adds realism to the figure. Nice work.

The paint job is over the top outstanding. The base though needs a whole lot of loving. It's like a brand new BMW with Cardboard for windows.
