Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.
Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Hey, idea.
Instead of raging pointlessly and trolling our forum with your puppy induced rage, you tell us your list, his list and we can help you not be pounded. Also, FTR, space wolves are a fairly bad codex, middle tier at best, because fully half their codex is utterly un useable.

Competative meta seems to say otherwise. SW are pretty good but if you have issues with them a good guard parkinglot or massed necrons army would eat up your play style, try something new, if you find you get pwned by the same player again and again you need to change your tactics, it is after all a game of tactics not just a coin toss.
When the new cron dex came on my misses started kicking my butt with them trashing my sm army with easy, now she struggles as I have much better ideas for taking them down. Again my best mates dark angels rinsed my orks reapeatly with his standard of devastation, so I when for a pounder list over rush list and now he's having to diversify.

Well, it only works with Citadel dice (says so in the introduction, in fact some of the techniques are actually detrimental if you use "3rd party dice"), so they get you any way you look at it. You buy the book, then you are bound up to GW for all your random number generator needs.
