I just picked up one each of sternguard, vanguard and tactical. These are the new character sculpts all together.

From the tactical box:

From the sternguard box:

From the vanguard box:

Thought I'd include this pig snout looking helmet as it's unusual.

Lol, no that's worse! The one pic I could see has disappeared and the others are still just empty frames!

Host them on Dakka's Gallery and then try again, should work out better that way.

I think Flickr has an issue with showing pics to those who aren't logged I to your acct.

Photo bucket has worked well for me, or hosting in Dakka itself.

How is that? It's been awhile since I used flickr and they've changed their format for uploading stuff.

Well that was ...annoying, uploaded to Dakka instead.

There is now 3 visible pics, but there are still empty frames showing where pics should be, so don't know if you've added the new links rather than replaced?

They're png rather than jpg, could that be the problem?

Nah man. That's Sidonus from the Space Marine game.

Although.... now that you mention Connery i can see the likeness. Bah, forget the Ultramarines. I'm starting a Sean Connery based army.

It's interesting but I'll be on-selling it, fortunately there is only one of them because it is ugly. Came from the Vanguard box. There are a couple of beakies in there though.

I grabbed my kits from the car over break here at work, I scoured over the sprues and they are really clean, well done parts. Cpt. Titus all the way and his Sgt. Very well done! Having done this has caused these last two days of work to seem endless!
The Crusaders have about six heads, several bare which is odd to me, I see several of those unused SM heads going to other models.

Like all of these, again not a fan of the pig head, but Connery is a strong favourite. DAT BEARD.

I realise he's based on Titus, but I'm wondering if both Titus and Telion are based on Sean Connery.

In particular, I think Telion may be based on the character Allan Quartermain, an expert shot, who featured in the film 'League of Extraordinary Gentlemen' (2003). The character was played by Connery.

When was telion introduced to the game? And it wouldn't be the first time GW have used movies/actors as inspiration.
