Khan and Chaplain go with the knights so that khan can get skilled rider as well as WS jink and stealth from the shroud and get 2+ cover just for moving. Not sure where my captain goes yet, either in with the knights as well or possibly with AB's? Any comments welcome.

Not a bad list at all, however I think you overdoing it on the Grav. Much like most armies too much of one thing can really amplify the RPS nature of 6th edition. You also suffer from a complete lack of AA here, as those Grav shots aren't enough to threaten flyers, and even with AP2, the ones you really have to worry about don't care much for S7.

I'd drop the Attack Bikes and one Bike squad to get two Stormtalons for AA duties. I'd also try and make two of the remaining Bike squad into Melta squads and reattach a Melta AB to each. Points permitting, I'd also add Combi-Gravs to the remaining Bike Captains.

Lastly, I'd be inclined to replace the Chaplian with a Libby as a bit of Divination could go a long way for your army, and with some point rejigging you could fit a Shield Generator too.

I agree, my idea is to take a Librarian with Divination. I was almost allying BA but then I realised we had Dark Angels

And I would take Scouts instead of Tactical Marines!
With Snipers they might be able to take out one or two models with cover-ignoring weapons, maybe even give them a Missile Launcher.

What is your reasoning for the DA-Command Squad?
Hit&Run, Scout, Skilled Rider.. WS-Command Squad has that stuff too.

Edit: Dropping some stuff for Stormtalons is a good idea.
But I would add those Attack Bikes in the normal squads, to give them some meatshield when you need vehicles to die.

Just saw another crazy idea!
Sammael instead of a Librarian could give a WS-CCS a 2+ cover near the Darkshroud, he also brings a Plasma Cannon and an AP2-sword!

Here is a list with all those changes made. Think I might be better off with RW dakka banner as the main detachment with grav gun toting WS for WS and monstrous creatures though...
