I'm not super creative or imaginative,
But, I don't like when everything looks the exact same,
So.. I have 3 riptides,
The first, was sort of kneeling,
The second, was standing straight up,
So the third, I was trying to be a little more creative and... Well now I'mixed on how I feel about it
Let me know what you think

Looks like he's tripping, or like he's been shot and is going down.

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of the women.

Yeah I think I'm gunna pull him off and make him a little more upright,
Or bring him a little more upright and throw him ontop of the flying rod

He looks like a kid that got nailed by a dodgeball in PE.

You could make one to look likes he's charging. That might be neat to see.

Reminds me about Neo from Matrix!

I hated posing my riptide and the more I look at mine the more I hate it...

I caught a matrix vibe as well, but its hard to make that work in a static model I think. What about a running pose, or the classic standing on destroyed enemy tank/MC looking for the next target?

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

The other thing I was picturing in my mind (which never turns out as good) was a sand base with almost a crater look under the jet pack so it looks like its pushing the sand outta the way,
And then maybe paint the sand a little darker in the crater like its being torched... Obviously harder said than done but I think it would make it look more like he's jet packing backwards instead of just falling

I applaud the effort, but he looks like one of two things is going on - he just got shot, and its about to hit the dirt, or there's an air caste pilot in the suit who's seen The Matrix a few too many times, and has a Neo complex.

It might be hard at this point, but for my (eventual) 3 riptides i plan to do Standing, Kneeling, and using the flight base that comes with him blasting off (though i realise this will have gameplay LOS impact, i don't really care).

I mean, it's Dakka. I thought snide arguments from emotion were what we did here.

That's what my original plan was, as you can see, I should have stuck with it
