This is my first tank a 5th Company Dark Angels Predator Annihilator named Leonine. I don't like weathering which is why it looks like a tron reject!!

Your edge highlighting is clean but too stark. Use a shade closer to your base color for better results.

Not a fan of the silver guns with red tips. Looks good though.

Looks like it's fresh off a Forge World from a Refurbishing! I like it, although I agree that a slightly darker edge tone might work better.

Your edge highlighting is super sharp, so kudos on that, but as others have said, it's too stark. For a better look I'd recommend finding a color half between the basecoat and the highlight color you've already used, and then use that color as the first layer of edge highlighting. Then, apply the lighter color, but sparingly, only at corners and such, things that would naturally catch lots of light. You might also wanna try and make the highlights thinner, at the very least on the brightest highlight.

I like the tron edge highlighting, gives it an old school feel [along with the red weapons]. Also, from a distance the edge highlighting would look a lot less stark. Great tank

I have some necrons. I initially started with them but got my head by dark vengeance and have not looked back since.

I love bold edge highlights, and how you've stuck with the kind of traditional feel to the guns. Very pretty tank!

Forget the haters, very stark palette but that's what I like about it.

Lovin' it. I think that's a great highlight style, the consistency and way it matches the classic red gun barrels looks great.

Cheers guys it took an age to paint!! I get ribbed a bit for it being too clean, bit I like to think that the techmarines polish the armour a lot!! I also like to think that my painting represents thr DA when they have literally just arrived on the battlefield and so armour is not yet battle scarred or damaged!!

Blending and area highlights wouldn''t hurt this model.

It almost looks a little too clean, like it belongs in a museum and not on a battlefield. Personally I would at least have applied some washes to the tracks and guns, and given it a scratch or two in the paint.

I actually agree with this. As much as I love the clean look, on metals that are supposed to be reflective and not matte washing can really bump things up. I would recommend a light Nuln Oil wash on the metal areas to get some more shadows and texture, this would not disrupt the highlights.

Looks really grate. The small details and symbols are my favorite on your tank/

If your imagination of your army is that it is fresh to the battlefield and that they would arrive like squared away Marines than so be it, but I do believe the edge highlighting is a little too bright. Maybe a shade darker but same technique would work better. Overall, you did a great job.
