Hey I think they look pretty good. I paint my marines clean though with lots of edging!! check out my DA predator below!! Don't put yourself down. They aren't as bad as you think.

Painting Dark Vengeance terminators at the moment. Hopefully will finish them during the weekend, with better photos.

Thanks for your feedback guys !

My biggest problem so far (as I felt it) are faces - sergeant almost became a round bubble after all my paint massacre, so i had to strip and redo him with just a base layer and wash, then eyes + teeth, and blood stain.

My local painter friend said that the guys are very close to warp corruption, judging by the colors

Trying to follow the gritty, battle hardened look on them. But didn't figure out how to do that on termies so far.

I think they look pretty good and whatever you are not that good at now will improve with time and practice.

A Heretic may see the truth and seek redemption. He may be forgiven his past and will be absolved in death. A Traitor can never be forgiven. A Traitor will never find peace in this world or the next. There is nothing as wretched or as hated in all the world as a Traitor. - Cardinal Khrysdam, Instructum Absolutio

I have always had a hard time with skin. So I cut off their heads (bwahaha!) and replace them with helmets.

Your painting is looking pretty good! Better skin than I've been able to do. I also think your plasma guns are looking pretty decent. Keep it up!

Just dry brush the skin and cloth with the same color you used as the base. Its a quick trick to adding highlights.
