Hello all,

Currently working on a 21st Founding chapter called the Decapitators. Gene-seed classified, but believed to be partly White Scars. They are a fully mounted army. Just a little fluff to make the models make sense...

They are stationed in the Segmentum Obscurus, roughly between Fenris, Terra, and the Eye of Terra, not too far from Armageddon. The entire chapter is focused on hunting down and punishing transgressors against the IoM and the chapter itself, and their pursuit of foes has even led many battlegroups into the Eye of Terror itself. They are headhunters and skull collectors, and decorate themselves and their equipment with the skulls of slain enemies.

Rather than scouts, new inductees serve as infantry mounted in Razorbacks (or rarely Rhinos).

Following decades of distinguished service (or a few suitably heroic acts), infantry may pledge to a Warrior Lodge. Three of these lodges - Wolf, Bull, and Ram - serve as bike-mounted cavalry. The fourth ledge - Raven - is only attainable by the psychically attuned, and consists of Jump infantry and Jump Librarians mounted in Storm Ravens. Commanders and Command squads ride bikes; Commanders must forswear Lodge membership, and Command Squads are routinely drawn from all three bike Lodges.

Now, some pictures! This is the RB that my first infantry squad will ride around in.

Looks nifty! What color scheme are you going to use?

Thanks! In short, bone and blue, with orange and brown as accent colors. Basically, I plan on priming the models black, going over with dark brown, and then building up to a bone color. I like the color scheme attached, but I'm going for a dirty look, so I'll leave some brown showing/do some dirty washes. The orange will be limited, and strictly for things that I want to stand out.

Also, here is the Razorback with some infantry.

Eager to see this project take off. I like the items on the Razorback flailing in the air. Gives the model some movement and life. Once painted, I'm sure the impression will be even more noticeable.
