So, here is my first attempt at a destroyed tank marker using clump foliage, super glue and various colour paints. What do you think?

Oh god, I've just noticed how much green shows when it's put right under a light...

Looks real good!

I got a whole tub of clump foliage never thought of doing this with it. How did you get it all to stay together?

Just lots of glue?

Super glue the bits together to make the overall shaor, then coat it all in super glue to harden it.

Looks good. I like this idea but never could work out how to do it. So I will be robbing this idea! great job.

Would spray varnish work to make it hard I wonder?

Aint no problem with green smoke, after all it is burning off chemicals! I'd go with a couple of layers of varnish on it, that should harden it. or you could paint some watered down pva glue on top of it, should dry clear. I'd try it on a separate piece though to make sure it looks right.

PVA works but will take a day or two to dry. The superglue is the fastest way, but be careful. It will give off dangerous fumes, and as it's an exothermic reaction (gets hot) it'll get rather warm.

I plan on making enough for my panzer battalion, and also a few bright coloured smoke markers, and maybe some bigger ones for artilery markers.
