Probably from the fact that as a Finecast model it has a LOT of flash pieces on every undercut. This makes it a pain to clean up and prep. Even after all the work to get it ready I still found flash in small undercut areas on this model while painting it.

In my case, and I think in many others, the hate derives from the deep lameness of the pose. It was somehow created (perhaps with the aid of dark sorcery or arcane techno-science) with negative levels of dynamism. I mean, the technical execution is certainly there, and it has all the gubbins, it just looks like he paused in the middle of an extremely casual stroll to nonchalantly raise his arms and air out his pits.

Main reason I assumed people didn't like the mini was the static pose. I mean when you look at some of their other termi HQ's they're dynamic but this reminds me of the flat arms raised figures of the 80's and 90's not bad in themselves and I kind of appreciate the retro look but all things considered it was a wasted opportunity to create a totally awesome sculpt, one that DA players myself included have been waiting on for years and years.

Yeah, that's basically it - it's dull as dish water. No dynamism, no style, no CHARACTER. The dark vengeance terminator sculpts were so full of life that this came as a real disappointment. Especially considering the number of people that field this character, and the price of it

I remember when it came out there were complaints about how it appeared his knees faced inwards. On the other hand, he's not in the "dumb squat pose" of other SMs.

I think pretty much everyone agrees that the Belial pose kinda sucks (and it's no fault of yours), apart from the the model looks amazing! Love the vibrance
