No problem! Sometimes, these issues seem like they could go either way, or it seems like the community has a divided opinion on them. I really enjoy using a poll as a bell-weather to see where the community falls on the issues. From the comments in the original thread, I actually expected to see the majority of people on the 'no' side of things.

That is why I like them, it is sometimes surprising to see what the results actually are.

I still have to vote "other" I don't think the rules are complete enough for a definitive RAW answer. RAI I'm 50/50 and HIWPI I would say yes.

If it was a tournament setting I'd contact a judge and ask him if manifesting a psychic power ever counted as a shooting attack.

I dont see and RAW reason why "your" model cant fire its weapons or witch fire, as its "your model" after you take it over.

RAI would be that too... you can activate force weapons, and you have permission to treat the model as "yours" and fire it in your shooting phase.

Voted yes. Treating something as my model, just be happy I don't repaint it while I'm targeting your tanks rear.

Chaining puppet master to get to backfield models is always fun as well.
