It's either fake (because those are the metal models), or GW have gone full NARM and we now have 5-man boxes of Guard.

Interesting. If this is real (I'm not sure), then it seems odd the front of the box would only show 5 models, unless this is a command squad or the rumoured Stormtroopers.

A Command Squad would indicate a whole new range of models. If stormtroopers, then they look totally different to what I expected and what has been suggested by rumour sources.

For new plastics, they look an awful lot like the old metal minis, down to the smallest pouch.



The sergeant, the guy on his right, and the top left one are exactly the same as the ones in the picture. Just flipped.

Good catch. I think that settles it pretty conclusively then.

Would any company release a product with that much dead space on the front? It only draws attention to how little you are buying. This is obviously fake or GW marketing really dropped the ball.

Not just the commander all of the models have been flipped as they are all using their rifles left-handed. Which doesn't fit the standard for most of GW's minis.

Hmm, thanks for clearing that up for me! My apologies for getting everybody's hopes up.

It was fun to think GW was bringing something other than Cadians or Catachan in plastic for a while.

Joke will be on us when this boxset exists, except it's 5 metal steel legion to replace the 10 man boxset.. for the same price I imagine.
