Hi everyone , i'm really hoping some one can help me with what is the best camera to buy to photograph models .
the one i have now is i feel failing my painting level not showing the tones, highlights and detail up ive added some pics of what the camera im using now is producing.
Looking for a camera within £50 price range
Many , many thanks for any help

To be honest, anything with macro function and atleast 10mp works fine.
However, if it has a tripod or stand then even better.

Also, try taking your pics with a lighter background behind them.
The dark colour seems to draw alot away from the actual model.

I personally prefer DLSR cameras for photographing models. They're expensive, but are really nice. But l do have to agree with Jackal, most anything with 10+ MP and a macro function should work, especially for casual use.

For what its worth, i use my works phone to take my pics.
Its a cheap and nasty samsung GT with a 5mp camera on it.
It does however have macro, which makes a huge difference.

Heres a pic from my phone camera:



Does the job pretty well.
So something with 2x the mp of that should be pretty spot on and easily in your budget too.
