Hi guys. Recently picked up some Rough Riders on Ebay and I plan on converting them into Vostroyans. I always thought that Rough Riders would fit into the fluff of a Vostroyan army quite well. After searching for quite awhile for 28 mm bear models for them, I've finally settled for horsemen. I'd like to eventually have enough to run a counts as DKOK Death Rider platoon from their Assault Brigade rules. Anyways, the guy I bought these from had the same idea but never followed through so I already have a couple with the "fancy hats" modeled on. Less work for me! I've already put together a sergeant with a plasma pistol, converted 2 riders to have flamers, one with a banner (counts as a hunting lance and eventually the PCS standard), and a rider with nothing special about him at all. Any thoughts to make them even more fluffy?

Maybe sculpt some empire-esque armor on them since vostroyans seem to often have the breast plates like WHFB empire.
