I got back into 40k about two months ago after a long hiatus. In that time I've been cleaning up my various armies, adding some new units here and there, and getting back into the habit of painting miniatures.

Right now I'm working on a Post-Heresy Soul Drinkers project.

With sixth edition I really like the Detachment rules. It's let me do smaller forces that I could simply attach to my larger armies as allies. I wanted to do something small scale though, even by detachment standards, so I started looking into chapters with low numbers or a history of small-scale actions. It didn't take long for me to rekindle my interest in the Soul Drinkers and with them being a second founding chapter it also gave me an excuse to buy some Forge World Cataphractii Terminators. Three birds, one stone.
