Stone looks good Graven, really well done.

Its nice of you to give one of the sisters something to suck, what are the other two going to be doing?

Thanks mate. One has a gun going BANG! And the other has a giant oversized pop gun with Cork in the end. Pics below.

So state of my desk just now.

The sewer grates, or at least the first 3 are done :

A little repaint on the Rim is all. Glad I used the bases for this, I think it's worked well.

First set of objectives, now with some paint!

2 Riddles, and the pack themed ammo and loot.

And...

Toxic Titan barrels, other ammo and loot.
More weathering required on drums especially.

Also, the Kurganovas have been primed grey and Dry-brushed ivory so you, and indeed I, can see the details :

Also 3 other walls have got layers on, but no washes yet, so not terribly interesting.

Am definitely getting poison ivy crew, which I think fits rather nicely with my theme of Ruination and plants wish I still had some etched brass ivy, leaves etc. Irony of me wanting brass etch is not lost on me

I've also got vol1 of the new 52 Harley Quinn to read - purely as research you understand...

Later peeps,

Looking good! The terrain/objective stuff is very nice indeed.

You can run classic (as opposed to Arkham) Harley in an Ivy crew as a free agent... Just saying...

purely research... understood...

manhole covers look uniformly good!
the loot and riddles(?) look cool too...
and poison ivy was one of my favourite baddies also.... apart from harley...of course^^...gotta love maniac characters... by the way.... was there ever a crossover between deadpool and her?...would be a truly fitting matchup... tho knowing these two it would be a naughty one...get it?...

are the headswaps of the evil sisters still planned?

Hey Vik,
re: headswap - undecided. I'm debating just painting the hair dip dyed.

Anyway, it begins:

This will be hell

And Grates properly done:

As are the rest:

Ammo

Loot

Titan

Riddles (blurry, sorry).

So, progress!

Thanks matey. Remember, that's a Raging Heroes mini that I'm using as a Harley "fan".

Thanks mate. She quite often has single or sets of 3 diamonds only, so I'll limit myself

Doesn't feel like it! Lots half done...

Enough with the diamonds! and thanks

A bit of progress though. Reading the New 52 has helped, she constantly changes outfits in that but there are certain themes - plus braiding and nautical headwear feature, as do chainsaws, lollipops (and roller derby, but still) etc.

Hair colours a nod to Arkham/Suicide Squad. Red is blocked in, Black just started.

Very true, and very wise.

So, my first proper figure since hand trouble really set in and I gave up on painting things other than terrain and space ships.

Thoughts?

Super zoom is cruel

Butt shot's a bit blurry. Sigh.

She looks great in person. Need a proper camera and a decent box to do her justice. Could be happier, but could be worse.

I think it looks good. but what's causing the issue is the bright light source. it's too much or needs to be diffused.

(like mine are better)

well... she is certainly high detailed... the face looks good, i can see she has green eyes... killer babe for sure thus^^
but i think the main issue i see here apart from the light issue is that the black parts of her cloth looks somehow weird...?...patchy somehow...might be that due to the lighting i misinterpret the scheme tho...

Love the lolly. I would consider un-highlighting the black a bit. They grey highlights get mixed up with the lighter colors of her outfit. Make it black with just a hint of upshading and I think the overall effect will be better.

P.S. Is that model "Raging Heroes" or "Raging Hormones"?

You're quite right. I shall amend.

No, it's because all the black was done with washes. I've redone the shadows with thinned black - good note!

Again, good note. Amended. Yeah, I'm happy with the lolly too And their models are bit pneumatic, I know...

So here we go. Still a bit shiny, but a better pic and better blacks, hopefully

C&C? Always appreciated!

Looks great

I was never a fan of the raging heroes figures, but see her painted up now and being used in a comic book style game makes so much more sense than in 40K with their crazy proportions and height differences.

That's rubbish mate, but really encouraging, if you know what I mean! Remaining sisters have guns, no fear

They're OK for sob, although aesthetically not quite right. I could go crazy with their not-sister minis, however...

Cheers mate. It's still not where I was, if you get my drift, but getting there.

Meanwhile, the rest of the graveyard is now mostly done!

I don't know whether it needs any more graffiti/posters?

Looks great, brilliantly atmospheric! Now you just need some capes and goons to battle it out in there!

Thanks muchly. I tried to use Cam's tutorial on his blog (pg 40 iirc).

Oh I know! Ivy and her plants will fit right in; I suspect Harley and some Blackgate guys too. Dunno what capes, if any, are coming my way, but I suspect I'll invest in watchmen or gcpd.
