Let's see what Dakka collects and which faction is over represented (I have deliverately broken down all SMs to get a fairer representation)

I collect Eldar, BT, Tau (Bor'kan), IG, Grey Knights and Necrons, though the latter three are still wholly in boxes (real life and all...)

I also have a small Blood Raven and Chaos force I'm trying to make playable as standalone armies from the Dark Vengeance set, but they arent really ready yet.

I have Space Marines, Necrons and Tau. Although my necrons are in limbo at the moment due to my sudden loathing of silver.

And that is how I see Dakka ^_^

I have small forces in various armies, but I'm only really actively collecting SW, 'nids and Imperial Guard, so that's what I voted.

I also have a few Orks, Necrons, Eldar, Dark Angels that are small legal armies but I can't really say I'm collecting them, more I just bought some to try out, so I didn't include them in the poll. Also few models from other armies that don't even make legal armies... so I didn't include those in the vote.

From the top:
Blood Angels: 2k points, awaiting possible new starter set with cheap Assault Marines before I add any more to them.

Dark Angels: 2500 points, Greenwing and Deathwing.

Space Wolves: 1500 points, mostly Grey Hunters and more often used as allies until I have them all painted.

Imperial Guard: 3000+ points, probably my primary army at the moment, and ever expanding/evolving.

Ultramarines: 1000 points, working towards a full Battle Company.

Heresy-era Imperial Fists: 1000 points, waiting on a restock of yellow paint.

Grey Knights: 1750, Purifiers and Paladins, not seen much play as they went from too powerful to rather weak with the 5th-6th change.

Inquisition: around 600 points most often used as allies.

1 Knight Paladin.

Remaining shelf space: 0 square feet...

Between me and the wife....

I'd say you can find just about any army in the house, or at least any army that could be easily counted as another (like MeQs).

The amount of money I've sunk into 40k as I've alluded to often; is absolutely staggering.

I've got a shed full of minis and several closets used to store some more.

Tyranids will always be my first love though. Ever since Zoanthropes still had legs and Carnifexes were faces with claws.

Because attaching an Inquisitor to your Tau army for laughs isn't really having an army. Grey Knights pretty much covers what's in that book, and Codex: Inquisitor just allows for ally shenanigans.

"armies" that are only made up of 1-2 units like Stormtroopers, LotD, Inquisitors etc werent included and instead are assumed to be part of the current "full fledged" codex they are part of (IG, SM and GK/SoB depending on what ordo your Inquisitor hails from, respectively).

I only included Knights because of their sheer battlefield presence that would warrant this to be an exception to the "one-unit" codexes.
