Ahoy all!

Just finished my Claymore Transport.... a kitbash of a modern APC i picked up on ebay and 40k'd it!

Added an autogun unit "BroadSword" from bits and bobs and then painted up to look dirty and dusty... mid campaign figting vehicle!

Would love some C&C on it!

Thanks Everyone!

I really like it. The 40k conversions are subtle yet effective. I really like that worn Aquila on the back.

Is this supposed to be a counts as Taurox?

Lovely blend of heroic and traditional scale would love to see a force like this, also the paintwork is subtle but pleasing A-
It would be an A* if the barrels where finished currently its eye catchingly weird.

Hi Zognob and thanks for stopping by! Yeh i have to admit i am really pleased with where my weathering techniwue is heading ....... not been doing this for long so its great to see some decent results! I know what you mean regarding the barrels! If i had a drill i would get that second barrel drilled out... What would you sugjest for the barrels to finish them off? Might add some grapite dust to dirty up the ends or something?

Would love your input... i had a look through your gallery images.... some really cool metal effectts and paint jobs!

Thanks again guys,

I like it in every way, except for how the autocannon barrel isn't drilled out. This is especially noticeable next to the other cannon, which is.

Or, if your hobby arsenal thus far lacks a drill, get yourself a coffee straw, cut two couple-centimeter segments, glue them to the ends of the autocannons and paint. Bam. Gun barrels.

Also proud captain of a Rebel Grot army.

I love the gritty look! Very realistic. I'll echo the need to drill out that autocannon, though

Hey all, and thanks so much for the C&C.... looking at it again i totally understand when you meant by the second gun barrel needing to be drilled....

I used the middle piece of a cotton wool bud... cut to angle and then glued in place..... painted and ready to go..... heres the final peice...

Thanks again all i really appreciate it!

Excellent work dude. I'm a big fan of using cheaper models to build armies. Although I've only done one myself, for my sons orks. Though I may have to build a few more now I'm building a guard army.

Cheers mate! Thanks for lookin in! Yeh i definetly thing there is merit in converting and assimilating models into the 40K fold..... with the size of the galaxy and the sheer variety and number of planets and millitary forces...... it is easy to think that pretty much every and all types of armour and vehicles would be used!

Good luck with your builds..... will look out for them!
