Greetings! In the past I did several Conversions for my growing Black Templar Crusade and its attached Inquisition department.
Here are some excerpts:

Black Templars Castellan Timotheus

mainly based on this wonderful and inspiring Artwork by John Blanche

Black Templars Swordbrother Constantin

also based on the Blanche Artwork

Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor

Black Templars Dreadnought Balthasar

some random Servitor with Heavy Bolter

Thing is that around half a year ago, I found my way back into the good ol Hobby after some time of abstinence and proceeded with the buildup of my army of fanatics. I managed to add some more customised models to my drawer and even finally started painting some of the regular marines (something I didn't do for about 6 years and still don't really enjoy ).
So I decided to start a Thread here to share my future outpourings and maybe get some criticism and suggestions. Here are some of my recent works...

Black Templars Assault Squad Innozenz

Inquisition Lexmechanic

Inquisition Warrior Acolytes

Inquisition Familiar

And some WIPs...

Black Templars Assault Terminators

Ordo Malleus Inquisitor

Some of the painted Stuff...

Finished Sword Brother

Some WIP Initiates

Last thing I want to emphasize is that this Thread and all I do is not meant to be very competitive in matters of gameplay. I do play the game and enjoy it, too. But my main focus lies on having an unique army with fluffy elements rather then be as competitive as possible. This been said you shouldn't wonder that I sometimes build and paint Models that may not be equipped in the most effective possible manner or sometimes don't have any current rules at all .

So cheers and let me know what you guys think...

OH-I Wanna get out of here

At first I was appalled you cut up one of the old web exclusive Sgts (and kinda still am), but the conversions are very good, your GS work is great! Looking forward to more.

Great conversions, these marines look very bulky and brutal.
I also noticed the web exclusive sergeant legs and was shocked, but they really work with that model!

As soon as I saw your Templars I thought of that artwork. It's one of my favourite 40k pieces.

Brilliantly captured, stunning outcome.

Awesome work! Out of interest, do you use molds or press molds for recurring details (books, bones ect) or sculpt from scratch each time?

I really like the way that inquisitor came out. great use of parts

Thanks guys!

@Paradigm: Yep, I have a Box with"originals" (some classic Bitz and others individually made out of plastic parts and/or GS). I use Instant Mold to make molds from these in case of parts that i use a lot (like books, emblems, bones...). Makes it way easier and faster to customize models and add specific details. More unique details are done from scratch (e.g. for special chars).

@Desubot: It was kinda hard to gather all the power armour parts both being outstanding amongst regular marines and fitting within the =I= armour style but I'm happy with the result as well.

Great stuff! Love the details your added to the Centurions, it really sells them as part of a 40k army, something I think the stock models don't do so well!

Superb. Your builds are cracking - not too much, not too little - just enough to really improve on the figs and make them properly unique. Sweet paint jobs too

Hey guys. For several month I was out of the Warhammer-thing and therefore didn't get anything done but now I used the holidays to go on painting and finally finished a lot of guys of my growing crusade...

Paladins

Sternguard

Assault Marines

Techmarine

Ordo Malleus Inquisitor

...and the crusade keeps on growing.

I hope to be finished painting all assembled and primed models in the near future so I can go on with my true passion converting (with a peace of painting-conscience )...as I write this I already got ideas and parts for 7 Inquisitors, 3 Henchmen, about 12 Marines, 5 Terminators, 3 Kataphron Battle Servitors (yes Mechanicus now too ), the starts of 2 Kastelan Robots, 2 Land Raiders and a Knight.

Hey guys, I'm back from the dead again.

Haven't been deedless in my crypt though...I finished the painting on some members of my growing Crusade and converted and builded some new guys for it as well.

Of course I couldn't keep my hands off the (no longer) new Deathwatch releases and gave it my own spin.

My beloved holy Inquisition got some new servants as well, in the forms of an Assassin, some Priests and Companions and two powerful new Inquisitors who have been in the making for quite a while.

Black Templars Swordbrother

Black Templars Paladin, Standard Bearer and Apothecary

Black Templars Paladins

Black Templars Paladins with Heavy Weapons

Black Templars Chaplain and Swordbrother with Jumppacks

Black Templars Command Squad

Black Templars Paladins

Black Templars Paladins with Heavy Weapons

Black Templars Aussault Marine, Deathwatch Marine & Callidus Assassin

Deathwatch Marines & Watch Captain Artemis

Deathwatch Marines

Deathwatch Marines

Deathwatch Dreadnought

Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor with Null Rod and Bolter

Ordo Malleus Inquisitor in Terminator Armour with Power Sword and Hellrifle

Ministorum Priests

Mystic, Acolyte & Tallarn Warrior

Servo Skull, Daemonhost & Cherubim

C & C welcome as always.
Expect some more miniature updates in the near future, as I have a lot of more projects on my workbench waiting to be finished...
