Hello everyone,

Here are some eldars I started to paint in February. They are almost done except the bases.

A little tribute to Trivial Pursuit...

Avatar, reapers, scorpions, fire dragons and banshees will follow... One day

Love these guys. The trivial pursuit shuriken catapults are a lovely little touch!

Excellent, these were the miniatures that got me into wargames many moons ago. They are classic sculpts and still stand up today.

The colours choices and highlighting are great, and love the Trivial Pursuit tribute.

Thanks Thraxas ! Do you still have these minis ?

Lately I have been working on my banshees I'm still hesitating with this scheme, quite classical, or to paint the hair in black and the gemstones in red. Any advice ?

Man those heads are huuuuuge. Neat painting still and thumbs for awkwardly cool bases

I love the daemon bases

As for the Banshee... I do like the classic colours, but it would be interesting to see one with black hair and red gems... I think that might fit in quite well with your blue force and purple/blue bases.

Especially if you give a subtle blue to the black hair.

Thanks for sharing. Those models were my introduction to Rogue Trader and much enjoyment was had. Great models and they still look very cool today.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

I received today some of the Raging Heroes minis. Here are some pictures...

A beermat. I almost prefer this beermat to my minis and for sure, I'll use it while painting / playing !

Looks pretty detailed for such a small model.

Look forward to seeing some paint on it

It has been a while since I posted my last pictures. Eventually I choosed to paint red hair et black hair for my banshees.

Since then, I finished to paint my 6 first banshees et and I began to paint my scorpions. I just finished the leather parts on the arms and legs, i still have to work on the green parts. : )

Scorpions are done. I'll paint the bases later, when I'll have finished the reapers and the missing banshees.

I like your paint job, but those long helmets with the stinger remain my least favorite of all the incarnations of the striking scorpions. So goofy looking.

Thanks. Well i did not knew there was an earlier version of these striking scorpions.

They definitely look better than the second one, though I dislike the last version, they look like Predators...

Hi,

New pictures are coming. Lately I have been painting a lot (a bit too quickly for me) as I am going to participate in a tournament in 3 weeks.

Here is an overview of what I painted so far

Some new minis !

I finished my fire dragons.

I also painted a special weapon from RT Era. I'll play it as a count-as.

You don’t see a lot of blue on fire dragons, looks nice. What are you going to counts-as that eldar missile launcher for? I’ve got one myself and didn’t figure there was a lot he could be used for these days.

I was thinking about either a Heavy Weapon Platform or an Eldar Support Weapon, even if in this case the miniature is quite smaller. I think this heavy weapon fit quite well to the description of the platforms.

I have been working today with my teacher on an elf for blood bowl. Still on WIP !

I like it. The one thing that leapt out at me was his hand isn’t bloody. They still call him the bloody-handed god these days? I thought it was one of his defining features, like being composed of molten metal.

But ignoring that minor quibble, what you have done is very nice.
