Well, Space Wolves don't have any successorts, nor do Black Templars (they are successors themselves, from Imperial Fists). So that leaves Blood Angels?

If so that would mean they have a chance to fall victim to the black rage and the red thirst, right?

An affection for close combat doesn't necessarily mean they are from a legion that favoured close combat (Unless it's BA for the obvious reasons) that's not how genetics works...
They could easily be an Ultramarines successors or an Imperial Fist successors...

Yeah.
Though, as purp said, they can be a successor from any Legion.

Well not any legion but there are more than three possibilities...

Have been busy past few days but I have come up with a color scheme, blue/light greenish (not ultra blue!)

Come death, come!

What's witgh the white dreadlocks on your marines?

Come into my web, said the spider to the fly.
Come rest your wings, and let us talk eye to eye.
For I am a spider, and you are the fly. Now that you are here, let us sit, and say hi.
But I have have no morsel to share, nor anything to eat. But wait, what is that stickiness upon your feet.
Ah now I have you, now I can eat. Now I can enjoy you, or store you as meat.
For I am the spider, and you are the fly. How else could it have gone, between one such as you, and one such as I.

Could be an Exploration Fleet. Would help with explaining the chapter's imperial guard force. Of course there are defenders in a Battle Barge.

Also more lore would be awesome!

Yeah but it wouldn't explain the entire chapter being there...
Maybe a company or two but not the entire thing...

Matters on the mission mostly. If they were going to a very dangerous area where they needed more than just a heavy hand. They could of sent a admech fleet with the chapter. Just like the firehawks did but were completely destroyed because of it. (Though they lacked a Admech fleet, and just came back from Hurons Rebellion)

It could be something similar where the chapter was drawn into a big war and they left altogether to go to a new location but overshot it completely.

Plus there are stars very far away from the galaxy arms. Basically you could use those stars which are far in between with a few nebulas and many solar systems.

As a suggestion you could use Anvil Industry models to illustrate the far outness of the chapter.

The 28 battle groups reminds me of my own chapter.

More lore is more explanation.

Here is something

Title
Use spoiler for description
Use imagery, which helps the writing aspect a bit.

On your planet, burning your men!

Thanks for the great advice guys, I might draw down some art, wont be great , on my wacom tablet just for the imagination to feast on! I am still having a hard time putting everrything into words, as my english vocabulaire is only limited, I frequently translate stuff butits doable!

I am not sure what the chapter was doing prior to getting lost in the warp but as said it should explain wy the entire Chapter was travelling, otherwise it'd have to be altered in some way!

I havent spend a lot of time on this as last week i got my first packof GS and im going wild on it hahaha

Hey people! Some new fluff! I'm not the fastest but hey! Got to keep it enjoyable, right?
The title isn't final though.
This is pre-warp drift! Oh, and it's just a sort of prologue!

The Thunderhawk gunship shook under the friction as it pierced the planets athmosphere, "Tiny" let his sight go over the battle brothers assembled in the cargo hold, strapped in to hold them firm in the violent descent from the chapters Battle Barge "Baptism of Fire" in space to the green-red planet below, in the short-briefing Battle-Group 9, "Apotheosis", had got on board the "Baptism of Fire" it was said that the planet conisted mostly from green grass, allthough all of it's plants, trees where of a brown-red colour. "Tiny" weighed his Heavy Bolter reassuringly in his hands, it was an impressing weapon, the golden inscription on it's flat areas spoke of righteousness and how it's War-Spirit would bring Judgement upon the Heretic and the alien.
Momentarily the shuddering of the ship increased, none of the Astartes even flinched, standing erect like lines of statues, braced in their harnasses, it was a magnificent sight, the Emperor's warriors, braced for battle, their faces enclosed by the grinning devil's face of their helmets, only the sound of prayers being made to the Emperor, for help to purge the enemies of Mankind.

"Tiny", named this not because he was short, rather the opposite, having parts of unsalvageable Terminator armour incorporated in his power suit was tall, even for a Space Marine, whose figures towered above a normal man, his Heavy Bolter was one of special design, tailored especially for "Tiny's" size it was even bigger then the standart version, and considerably more destructive, "Tiny" took care of it like it was his first born, scrutenizing it daily like a ritual, blessing it's War-Spirit .

The figure that stood out amongst the Battle-Brothers was that of Captain Willie, clad in tactical dreadnought armour, his ancient terminator armor radiated supremacy, gripped in his right gauntleted hand he sported a mighty Power Axe of ornate design, in his left a gauntled a shield, inscribed with litanies of hate towards the enemies of Him on Earth, so large it doesn't seem possible for any human to carry it, if even ten could do so it would've required them all to be of Ogryn, the extremely devout abhumans that serve with the Imperial Guard, strength. Having served in Battle-Group Zero, "The Bulwark", under Arch-Captain Marten Fridrich, and thus receiving Terminator-Honours, made Brother-Captain Willie not an ordinary Astartes, if an Astartes could be ordinary at all.

Designated to lead Battle-Group 9 over three years ago, to share his expertise in battle with the Battle-Group 9, leading the 30 Brothers of "Apotheosis" into battle on over a dozen of worlds and with his superior leadership emerging victorious on every single one of those events, but this conquest they had set about on this day was different, different in as they do not know what to expect on the world below, contact had been lost over 4 years ago, the last message received was a distress call, what had happened on Eslico remained a mystery and why it was send was unknown, as the imperial tithe completely stopped coming in around that time, a motion was set into movement that was bound to happen: the Space Marines where called in to check up on Eslico, rumours had it that a high ranked Inquisitor was on-board the "Baptism of Fire" but that were just rumours.

None of the worlds communications replied to the urgent messages of the "Baptism of Fire", the planet did not look like it was ravaged by a war, so what had happened here. As the Thunderhawk Gunship, with it's transport of thirty Battle-Brothers, Chaplain Stege, and Brother-Captain Willie, made it's descent, quite literally, to the truth, in it's wake two Thunderhawk Transporters, both carrying a Land Raider Crusader, named; "Born to Compete" and " Never Retreat".

On your planet, burning your men!

"Touchdown in one minute." the pilot's voice announced through the comm feed.

"My gut tells me theres something horribly wrong here, Tiny thought, it had never happened before that they had set out on a mission without ány intel! There had always been some information regarding possible enemies but here.. Nothing!"

The Marine on his left, looked at him amused saying; "You aren't scared, eh' Tiny?" Chuckling, obviously hearing Tiny's frustrated grunts.

"The Emperor shields us, You know that, Blom!" Tiny grinned at him; "I am aching for a fight, Brother! my bolters War-Spirit will relish in purging the heretic and xenos from this planet, whoever is here, he will not forget The Ascended for a long time!"

Everone around was making last checks on their weapons and armour before debarking, making last prayers to Him on Earth; for help and guidance in the coming days.

"Helmet's on" boomed the voice of Brother Captain Willie, as one the Marines equipped their helmets in a short orchestra of metal clicks and locks being shoved into place.

"No enemies in sight, approaching destination, Touchdown in 5..4...3...2..." Was heard as the pilot counted down

With a small boom the Thunderhawk Gunship made touchdown and at once, with a hissing puff the airlocks of the cargo door unlocked and hissed open, letting the bright yellow-orange sunlight into the cargo hold.

before the ramp had touched down, thirt marines hit their release rune on their flight harnass and debarked stabilising a secured perimiter around the ship, Chaplain Stege and Brother-Captain followed in their wake, taking up the surroundings whilst the two other Thunderhawks Transporters put down their cargo.

"All seems normal Captain", reported Sergeant Alfred, and after a slight pause; "except there are no people here.. Nor have been for a while I reckon"

They where standing on the square infront of the Imperial Palace, the statue of the Emperor shone brightly in mid-day sun, there were no signs of struggle, no signs of fighting anywhere, the only thing that seemed out of place was the fact that there where no people, and grass started to protrude through the brickwork of the streets, none of it looked like it was attended to for years, the gates of the Imperial palace stood open, yet there was no sign of fighting, frankly.. There was no sign of anything.

where had the people gone? And aparantly in such a haste? As they probed the first windows in the buildings, nothing was fallen over, neither were any windows smashed, it was as if time had stood still in "Farella", capital city of Eslico.
