My summer project, must have spent 100+ hours on this guy. Pleased how he has turned out. He was missing a couple of hatches and pistons so had to convert a little but hopefully not too obvious. Learned lots of new techniques including the icicles, better snow, the burnt barrel look (purple, blue, brown washes sequentially from the tip of the barrels) and the chipping/rust effects (ichiban painting did a fantastic tutorial on this).

Comments and criticisms welcome.

The interior is pretty basic since its hidden I haven't put too much detail in yet really just airbrushing and washes. I will probably go back and spruce up the interior a bit at some point.

Fantastic job on the weathering, it looks ancient. I also rather like the icicles and the basing is great. Makes me want to buy one now lol.

There is something subtly eerie about the icicles hanging from the Warhound. I can't help but look at this and think of the white walkers from Game of Thrones...

Thanks for the comments. I've added some more pictures of the fine detail of some areas. Ive put some in of the interior too but its not that well painted yet as it's hidden away beneath all the carapace. I removed the background in the full model shot because I had to photo it on the garden patio to get good light and the paving slabs kind of ruined the atmosphere of the model!

Very nice job with the burnt barrels. See, that's the kind of detail that us wannabe-Dakka'ers want to see.
