July is upon us!

What do you hope to get started/continued/finished this month?

Me, personally, I want to finish up painting 50pts of Cygnar:

Commander Coleman Stryker
Ironclad
Lancer
Charger
Stormclad
Stormblade unit
Stormblade unit attachment
Stormblade Weapon attachment (x3)
Stormblade Captain (that new solo... I think its a Captain)
Gunmage Unit
Gunmage Unit Attachment
Gunmage Adept
Black 13th
Stormsmiths (x3)

Stretch goals would be to start painting up some miscellaneous GW models:

12 man Dwarf unit (the gun guys... I forget who... the gun guys)
5 or so random Space Marine Vanguard and Sternguard Veterans
Ezekiel
Techpriest
Librarian w/ Staff (old metal one)
Dwarf engineer w/ dual pistols

I have a little boy that will lynch me if I don't finish his F-18 Super Hornet.

1) F-18 for my boy.
2) Paint up the Wall of Martyrs

I want to finish my Forgefiend and my 5 Militarum Tempestus.

on the desk this month is a unit of 8 raptors. I already cleaned them up, magnetized and assembled them last month. painting will probably begin tonight. that's my only official goal for the month; trying to keep things modest because life's been crazy busy of late. as a stretch goal I'll either start work on a heldrake or some cultists.

Alright, two goals only since I am going to be really busy this month:

Finish the rest of my Menoth and Finish the rest of my Chaos I own. Hopefully if I have the time and motivation I'll tackle more of my Mercs for Warmachine.

Working on the Baneblade again. Got most of the drilling and other work done last month and got it ready for the basecoat. So for this month:

1. Basecoat, weather up some, and minor detail on the Baneblade.
2. Fix barrel and tracks on one Laser Destroyer and finish building the second.
3. Build remaining BFG ships.

I want to start my space wolves dreadnought, I'm still toying with design.
I want to continue my thunder wolf cav build it from 6 to 9
I want to finish my drop pods I have three based and nothing else

I sometimes find it hard to get started but when I do I get fixated, my only drama at the moment is that I keep getting arts through the post from my bits place. I just got two more cyclone launchers which I need to paint

about 1/3 the way through with my Cygnar goal...

and I'm reconsidering my stretch goal... thinking of trading/sell all that stuff so I can get me some Khorne Daemon stuff.

Cyggies are done! Now working on some Epic 40K stuff... these are my first Epic models!

My friend and I are having trouble finding motivation to paint, so we committed to doing an escalating war between my Altansar Eldar and his Iron Hands with IG allies. We are going to escalate at 500 points a game, ending at 2000 points.

500 points completed every three weeks.

I got Maugan Ra and 2 guardian squads done in time for the first fight.

This time I'm vowing to paint 5 Dark Reapers and a bright lance fitted Crimson Hunter, by Aug. 7th.

C'mon life don't occupy me now!

Got my first goal down. Got my airbrush to work and made basecoating the Baneblade easy. The salt weathering really is a clean quick way to give and easy chipped paint look. Added some highlighting here and there and chipped the bolts up some.

In the first steps of goal two. With some motivation I should be able to hammer it out during my next two days off.

Goal three on the other hand might be put on hold. As much as I want to work on my BFG some more, I need to start working on my Vendetta and some more infantry.

I finally complete a 1500pt list for my Salamanders the other day so I can start playing games. To that end, I want to have the list atleast built by the end of this month with the exclusion of the drop pod, as from looking around it seems it will be easier to paint it before putting it together. So, goals are to build the following:

1) 2x Rhino
2) 1x Land Raider Redeemer
3) 1x Storm Raven
4) 10x Tactical Marines
5) 5x Sternguard

Stretch Goal will be:

1) Start painting Drop Pod

Possibly a bit ambitious but I've practically done no modelling the past few months so need to get my butt in gear, if I can get this stuff built atleast I can start playing games.

Well one week to go and I have completed 1x Rhino, Storm Raven and Sternguard squad. I should be able to get the Land Raider done this week so overall I haven't done too bad.

Alright, it seems I am only halfway done with my goals. Hopefully I can at least get my menoth done.

Put some Hordes Trollbloods together for a journeyman league... my first in years.

weeellll I didn't quite get that squad done, but they're 98% of the way there. just have to finish the bases and spritz on some varnish. so, I'm going to call this month's goal a win!
