This is from the 'Bug Hut' Kickstarter terrain. I have to say this is the best quality most detailed wooden terrain I own. It's made from Plywood, not MDF. Modelled off the LV426 set of Aliens. The guy has big plans once he's forefilled all his Kickstarter backers, if you like what you see, keep an eye open..............

It's taken 6 months to assemble and paint all this, it's all modular with the rooms and corridors all loose. All the detailing parts have come from Antenocities Workshop, all resin. I've modelled the rooms so there is a Medical Bay, Control Room, Cargo Bay, Canteen. Also done a Brig, Cryo Tubes. I can officially say I am fed up of painting Yellow and Black Hazzard Striping, and painting Crates (+80 of them throughout!). All I need now is the AVP Kickstater to pitch up and we're away!

Great looking setup. I got my set in near the end of June.
I am currently base coating all the sections, and it is some work.

Hoping to have the base coats knocked out later today, and then I can start doing assembly and washes.

I'll be using my set for a bunch of systems : Infinity, Gruntz, SoTR1949 at the minimum.

Again, great looking set!

That's remarkably well lit for an Aliens-style base That being said, I would absolutely love to play on that table, and they look really good. Great use of furniture and equipment to give it a more realistic feel too.

Outstanding! Did the control panel stuff come printed on or did you paint it?

I think I dropped about $450 on the Kickstarter. Very well worth it, this stuff in terms of quality is leagues ahead of anything I've had from other companies. It's all made from high grade plywood. All the parts came pre-cut with detail burned into them. E.g., every door has a control panel burned into the wood. It all slots together rather nicely. I've then probably spent around £200 on interior parts from Antenocities Workshop. Unfortunately, they've stop producing this line of terrain, but I managed to get all my peices before they stopped production.

The terrain is modelled of Aliens. I didn't want a 'dark' look on it, and when for a cleaner more starship interior feel. That's why I painted greys and whites. Originally I'd planned for this to play Sedition Wars on, but due to CMON, I sold all of it. Then the AVP Kickstarter came out..........

None of it comes painted. What you do get though, is printed screens on paper. So I paint the basic panel and switches, but the actual screen is printed glossy paper.
