I just completed adding some nurgle details on my Helbrutes and I hope you all like them. I also added some boils to my Heldrake. Any tips or critisism is more then welcome. This is pretty much the fifth time I ever used green stuff in my live so be gentle . These Helbrutes are part of my 2000 points CSM nurgle list. Thank you for the feedback . I was really happy with the results on the helbrutes, I was afraid the tentacles would totally mess them up. Now that the green stuff projects are finished it is time to paint it all. after painting I will green stuff the bases and probably wil add some greenstuff on my cultist zombies because they look a bit to blend for zombies atm.

It's actually looking really solid, look forward to seeing the finished article.

Only thing I can suggest is adding some greenstuff round the boils to make them look like they're coming out of the metal, which has been corrupted to be like rotting flesh. Apart from that, it's all great!

You are right they look a bit odd I will probably add that later because iám in the progress of painting the details on the Helbrutes. Tnx for the tip tko

Glad to see the log up here! I'm thinking a large portion of the success of the boils will come down to how they are painted. I understand the look you're going for with them (I looked up boils on google images to compare what you got to some photos...I hate my life now lol) and I think they should work.

If you are unsure about them and want another idea perhaps keep the top part very rounded and smooth out the edges of the GS to flow down and attach so they make little hills with very round tops, then carve a shallow channel around the top third of the mound to give the illusion of a recessed top round part. Not sure how better to explain it atm sorry. Anyways great work!

Took me some time to return to the hobby but happy to announce Project Nurgle is back on track
















Still a work in progres but base colors are done, next will be highlights and washes and needs rust effects on the metalparts
