Hi guys here's my Imperial Fists Chaplain i got fed up of his static pose so i sliced him in half and tried something new
what do you guys think ...??

It's a great conversion, and the paintjob is top-notch. I love that shade of yellow. The pose is also well thought-out and it fits the menacing nature of the Chaplains. However, I do have some small criticisms. I think the basing material is way too large and actually draws attention away from the model. The shield is also a bit plain: a big fist and nothing else. Lastly, though I love the color, it needs more black to denote the Chaplain's station and accentuate the death motif.

All minor stuff, and I'd still be proud to have it in my display case

What he said, needs more black.

It's cool and well painted. However, to me it says "I wanted to be a chaplain but got rejected, so I turned into a a TH/SS terminator squad member instead."

It looks great, but nothing about it says 'Chaplain.' No black, no extraneous relics, no crozius, only a single skull mask to tell us. The paint job is GREAT! (Yellow is SO hard...) But until I got to the comments, I thought you'd just misspelled 'captain.'

Though its perfectly reasonable to think that this chaplain does not have a personal set of terminator armor. So when he is called do something that requires he borrows one from the chapter armory and might not have time to paint over it.

It's really well painted, but, as others have pointed out, he needs to have at least some black on him to denote his office, The legs are also incredibly plain compared to the original ones.

I can understand wanting to make the regular model more dynamic, however, I have to say, I don't think there's any extra dynamism in this pose. The legs are still static and lean backwards slightly, which means that the net result is more or less the same pose as the original model but with less detail on the replacement parts to denote him as a revered HQ type.

Purity seals, scroll canisters, any number of icons that come from various kits would have been useful adornments to add on.

i Was hoping 7 purity seal would have been enough to donate that he was something special as well as the massive fist on the storm shield but thank you for the advice.

Haha, no kidding.

I think he definitely looks great. Not all chaplains are black, not all librarians are blue, depends on the chapter. I think a couple of liberties can be taken and not totally deviate from the universe. Skull mask definitely denotes chaplain, so does not having one, as any of the helmet-less chaplains can tell you.
