Recently bought a Cadian Armoured Fist set because I wanted to take a break from painting my Tyranids. It started as just a small project, but I think I may start an Imperial Guard army. The next set I want are the Militarum Tempestus Scions.
My original pics with the camo on the tank got messed up somehow. Trying to figure it out. Here's the finished unit:

They look really nice! Personally I'd put some weathering on the tank and troops, but if clean is what you were going for, you pulled it off pretty well.

Thanks! I plan on adding some weathering to the tank, like some mud and scratches. Not sure if I'll add any to the troops.
Extremely solid work, well executed and good detail, as well as clean lines on both the infantry and the vehicle.
Only thing that jumps out at me is that the edges/sides of the tracks along the top and front of the chimera still have some green and tan paint on them instead of being leadbelcher/silver like the rest of the track. Very very minor quibble on an otherwise very well executed squad & transport.
You paint an entire IG force up to that standard and it would be a pleasure to play against. Keep it up, and I hope the critique helps ya sir.
Take it easy.

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

I think the rivets look fine.
Speaking from long years of experience, the rivets on most modern military vehicles are the same color paint as the rest of the vehicle.
OP: Nice job!

Damn, we had no fancy videos when I started GW. All we had were trial and error and about a thousand botched attempts at making something look decent XD.
The only thing I'd add (other than to finish basing those other dudes), is some edging to the camouflage.
See here how it's two colors separated by a thin bit of black? It does a lot to emphasize that this was camo painted on, rather than an accident involving a few buckets of paint and an angry techpriest.
You don't have to use black, of course, but unless you use an airbrush, borderless camo makes it look like it was hastily-applied in the field. Which isn't very Cadian.

I like how that looks, but I'd rather not use black. Does GW have a very very dark brown?

It looks great, but I'm just saying if it had been me who had painted it, I would have painted the rivets. But as I said, I'm a nitpicker for that kind of thing.

Steel Legion Drab, Rhinox Hide, or Gorthor Brown might be what you're after. I've never used any of these colors but from the looks of it this seems to be about as dark as their browns get. You could always mix a black and brown to your liking.
You gave me an idea though, because I'm about to be painting some traditional Cadians and their vehicles, and I don't want them to just be 2 flat colors next to each other. I agree with Ailaros about the edging with the black, but I don't like how dark that is either, so brown would be a good choice.

I have Steel Legion Drab and I don't think it's dark enough. I'll look into the other colors you mentioned and try them out.
So I decided to get rid of the camo. I should be getting some Militarum Tempestus Scions in the mail tomorrow. I'm going to paint them similar to how they look on GW's site, but instead of blue I'll be using the green I used on these guys.

Sir Bubbles wrote: The chimera still looks great without the camo. Did you try any brown on it before you removed it?
I did not. I may give the camo another try on a Leman Russ tank or some Sentinels. I really do like the simple green look though. I may still add some scratches and dirt/mud on the tracks.
