Yeah I might! Grant, Adam and myself were thinking of heading down via train. If it isn't too late I will look into logistics around jan 2-5 or so... ATM in Washington with family so best if I wait until I'm back in SF.

@brothererekose - that list that you mentioned would be legal. Would love to see how it performs in the group down here.

@ Rest of thread - we look forward to seeing how many can come down for this and growing our recurring tournaments at this location. We were able to successfully hand out 7 different prizes with a 16 person event in November and can increase that with additional attendance.

For those in the Los Angeles area, a couple of my would-be local buddies are unable to come.

Anybody up for splitting the cost down to G.E.S.D.?

Lemme know here or hit me on FaceBook.

Julio, if you & your buddies are cruising through, I live right by the 5 fwy (Burbank Airport), barely minute's stop to pick me up ....

Azgrim I believe I was able to help you through PM, however for everyone else... Paint will be around 28% of your overall score. If you looking to try to win best overall, a painted army will definitely make it easier and put you in the running even if you lose or tie a game. We will be awarding Best General as well, so paint or not, you can definitely still compete for a top prize.

How did this pan out?

I am extremely bummed to have had to cancel and miss out.

I stopped by briefly to check things out. Looked like people were having a good time and there were a couple nice looking armies there.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?
