Hello everyone! Just wanted to share my great unclean one with some fresh eyes. I'd love to hear your ideas for it. I'm surprised I haven't seen more people using this model for GOU's so if you've done one post some pics, I want to see!

The idea for this conversion was that the nurgling hot tub of pus and excrement on the daemons back is also the ammo supply for the arm stump spooge shooter of filth. I will add some tubes running up the back of his arm into the hot tub to infer that idea.

Now I need to GS up a big fist holding a big rusty cleaver I've made for him. I'm toying with the idea that the cleaver is made from a sheet of metal cut from a baneblade or something so was thinking of incorporating some kind of serial number in cadian font in chipped rusty paint. Any ideas?

I'm pretty happy with him so far, hope you like him

Lucas.

P.S posting from tablet so fingers crossed it uploads the images properly.

Disgusting, I love it! The baneblade..blade sounds really cool, too.

It seems like mobile uploads have been wonky lately, but clicking on the pics works fine.

Don't remind me I've got to paint it although I did get some new airbrush stuff for Christmas that I need to try out on a nice big model

You could make the cleaver from a tank panel, with track segments nailed on the side for teeth

That is a very cool idea. I'll look into it.

Looks very fun

I think some wine/beer bottles and glasses around the rim of the "pool" would be entertaining if you wanted some easter eggs for people to spot

Made a start on the hand sculpt and you can also see the weapon in its current state. I was on ebay earlier looking for IG tank tracks for queen Anne's revenges idea but I am thinking of making them out of plasticard as the ones from the kits might be a bit chunky? We shall see.

As this is the first time I've ever sculpted a hand of this size (my second time sculpting a hand at all) I'm very happy with how it's going. The key is to break it down in to basic shapes and fill in the gaps hopefully more tomorrow if stupid general life plans don't get between me and my toys!

Little more time spent on this monstrosity. Added some tubes that I will bed into the skin when the GS sets. The hand is on now but I now have the challenge of blending it in to the rest of the arm. I'm thinking a big armour plate would cover a multitude of sins. Ideas greatly welcome! Also wondering what size Base to use?

The hand looks fantastic - plenty of detail! You could also use a jagged wound held together with stiches rather than an armour plate.

That could work! A nice deep wound would help with disguising the difference in width between the forearm and wrist, that's the main issue I'm seeing.

Sorry Darth Bob, it's because they're uploaded from a mobile device. Is there a way to rotate?

If you upload them from your phone to a PC you can then rotate them using the generic windows picture viewer, then upload them to Dakka. Sadly the Dakka gallery does not have this function.

They are the right way up on my phone though and if you click the pictures they open up the right way. Someone said the forum is being weird with mobile uploads lately, one of my pictures even uploaded upside down! oh well, I'll have to do it from a computer in future. damn the inconvenience haha

It's based on The Glottkin from the Warhammer: The End Times range.
