I have made a mistake with my Necron Overlord, as I have lost part of him. The tassels that go on his chest I have misplaced (my fault) and I really don't know how replace them. I would like suggestions on how to replace them or to fill in the hole with something, my green stuff skills are decent, but not super. So any suggestions?

Hard to tell from the pic exactly what is going on and I'm not familiar with the kit but if you're looking for tassles, in the traditional sense, then how might CSM or ork topknots look?
Or some small horns/spikes or something from either of those kits?

Oli: Can I be an orc?

Ok that could work...maybe I could put a skull from CSM in the gap and see how it works.

Can you identify which piece is lost?

I own the model, but I haven't built him -- I don't really see on the sprue which piece has tassels.

Oh, you are right. The position of the hand with the rez orb and the base size give it away as the old (resin) overlord model. It looked like plastic at first glance. Sorry, I don't own that model, so I can't tell what the piece on the sprue looks like.

You must've been thrown off by the Zero G.

I would just fill them in.

Honestly, those tassels have no business being on a model made of squishy finecast, they break off all the time,

maybe I really could place a head from CSM inside the distance and find out how it works.

Yeah, I'll just fill it in with green stuff.

If you have some lychguard, you could use one of their tassels, specifically the guy on the lower left:

You could take an exacto knife and slice the bit in two and use them.
