I have decided to re-do my cadian army as it has been sitting in a tub of dettol for the past few months (the stuff had gone solid, seriously. Took for ever to get them all out and cleaned up), Anyway I am determined to make sure every model in the army is unique, each will be converted and realistically equipped (with backpacks and ammo pouches). I am kind of doing this army as a remedy to the crime GW committed when they discontinued kasrkin. C&C welcome.

Each standard guardsman will have a head similar to this.

This design is going to be used for the grenadiers or storm troopers. Knee pads will be added. Im not sure what to do for the arms.

So what you're saying is that you're going to... leave no model unconverted?

Okay. I'm on board with this idea.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Nice start. I like the rebreathers. I planned on having rebreathers on all my own guardsmen but was a little unsure of how to reasonably go about it. You've given me the idea I needed.

What else do you have planned for them?

Im planning on converting an old chimera into either a leman russ or a funky made up tank design, not too sure yet. I am planning on using scion arms for the grenadiers. Any other suggestions for arms/weapons? I was tempted to use bolters at first...

Here we have two more guardsmen more or less finished, just some clean-up to do.

Not bad. The leopard camo is interesting.

As for the Grens. I'd want to see a "complete" model before I gave a final verdict, but given the armour you've sculpted for the one shown above, I'd be leaning towards using bolters. Just for the chunky "we're coming to ruin your day" look.

Here's the storm trooper. Not finished yet, but you get the idea. I think I may go for a mix of hellguns and bolters.
