Hello all,

I've been playing 40k for about a year now and I have a 'small' Crimson Fists force (around 1500 points). Over the past year I've painted them all up and I've also tried my hand at some fairly basic conversions, so let me know if you would like to see pictures of these please!

Anyway, today I finally got round to painting my LoTD combat squad, and I'd like to know what you guys think I only included 3 of the 5 as the others are missing parts; one guy missing a gun and the other missing a knife blade. I can include these if there is demand for them, but I figured it would be better off without them to start off with. Any feedback and improvement ideas would be hugely appreciated!

(This is my first proper post on Dakka Dakka, so any general etiquette tips would be appreciated also)

As far as I can tell, I would throw a agrax wash or similar brown wash onto the bone colors and a nuln oil or similar black wash onto the metallic bits, the weapons especially.

Luckily, I have both those washes to hand, so I can do that pretty much straight away. I'll test it out on one model and post the results back here shortly.

I really like your legion of the damned, the flames, both on their armour and in the brazier, look really good!
I'm nowhere near many of the painters on Dakka, so I wouldn't heed this all that much, but I'd suggest giving some washes a whirl to help add some depth to the guns and bone, should help with definition.
Anyways, really great work, and I would love to see more pictures, of either more of these or some of your crimson fists!

As I said, I'll get a test of the washes done real quick and post the results back here within the hour. Thanks for the feedback aswell!

So a little bit later than I expected, but here's the test model which I applied Agrax Earthshade and Nuln Oil to. Look forward to hearing your thoughts!
