WELL, I browse too much and contribute too little, so here is the beginnings of a meander through my painting exploits. I used to paint when I was about 10 and my older brother was far better than I. seventeen years later, he is still better than I, but I am better than I as well. I don't play any GW games, but I like the miniatures, so there will be very little cohesion here for the most part. I do have a lot of things in boxes to paint, and sporadically change my mind as to what is next. First on the table are a couple of dark elf Cold Ones waiting for riders and friends, A Dreadknight waiting for arms, and the first pair of miniatures I painted on my return to the hobby; an emperor's champion and a SoB hospitaler (one of my favourite models ever).

Some new things hanging around the desk. Well, one thing specifically. There are miniatures that define your childhood not because you had them, but precisely because you didn't. This is one of those. I managed to hunt one down for a reasonable price on the 'bay and now I'm slowly (lovingly) building and painting it. I must say, it is an awful kit. Nothing fits, detail is abysmal. Despite this, it is utterly lovely.
