Hey Everyone so for some time now I've been steadily working on an army I'm growing quite fond of, my Imperial Guard and Tau Allied Force.
My goal for this army was to make it look unique and interesting but also to bring an element of scavenged tech to the guard to give them a more "advanced" but also more beat up look.

As of now I've written out about a 2500 point army list combining Imperial and Tau forces and have most of what I need to build it, including lots of conversion bits and other cool stuff!
I'm largely focusing on building the Guard elements at the moment and I'm happy to share some of my progress with everyone here!

I also would love any suggestions on conversion ideas for the Tau as I haven't quite found my direction with them yet to really bring the army together.


So First up is my Veteran Squad, so far I have 5 of the 10 done. The squad has a Sergeant with power weapon and plasma pistol and 3 plasma gunners and a vox caster:

I am totally digging this. Great looking conversions!e. Are you going to paint them with a Tau color scheme as well?

when it comes to painting I'm not sure on my scheme quite yet honestly, it will likely be closer to a tau scheme than a standard guard one.

I like! They really scream WWII Imperial Japanese meet Manga. I think if Dust tactics had survived to add Japan this should have been the feel they went with.

so here's an update, My first parts of a Scion Command Squad!
as of now the Commander with power weapon and plasma pistol and a Plasma Gunner are complete

-What do you think of my concept for a tau/human plasma rifle?
