I'm planning for a game next week at my flgs escalation league. The league features special characters built using league campaign rules, mine is my canoness and she's staying in the list so she can complete league objectives. She'll go with the priest and bike squad, celestine with DC.

Any reason you aren't partaking of drop pods?

I only own 4 drop pods total, I could pick up another for 5 before the games but that's about the limit, so saturation wouldn't be particularly high. Otherwise though, I've been really liking the protection that the vehicles have been providing so far. I'm not completely opposed to drop pods though. I can absolutely bring a fleshtearers strike force to max out on them.

I'm just not a fan of scout squads vs Tac in drops. Then you can grab some other drops for the SOB.

Here's a shot at a drop pod list. It loses the celestine/dc unit but gains another dominion and an orbital ez-bake. Threw two extra bodies on the bike squad since I had 50 pts left over. I could drop them and 5 pts elsewhere to get a rapier laser destroyer but I'm not sure it's worth it.
