You've got a good eye for color contrast, man. This looks like a fun scheme to paint. Since it's just a gaunt, I wouldn't worry about it too much, but the orange carapace could benefit from an edge highlight if you want to make the mini look extra crisp.

that sounds like a good idea. Maybe yellow.

seems you heard the saying go big or go home and felt instantly there was only one solution, eh?...my...that is a massive force...

gaunt looks good...specially the carapace...but i doubt if we actually see the colors as you do... there is an odd twist to the light...so the orange probably has a different hue to you than us...

Yes it is much more traffic cone than expected in this lighting. Good news is when I move soon, I will have a dedicated light box up running. Yes in my absence I have been busy... I also have more coming this Friday! infact... i just added to this... help me....

Only one solution I knew of to keep the Victor around. Show him the big ones.

The orange is very orange. Perhaps a wash to tone it down? You could hit it with a brown or brown/orange wash and highlight it in the same orange. It will give the gaunt a little more depth without loosing the essence of your paint scheme.

Sorry for the lack of replies gents. You are all wonderful. I am currently in between a move, and will be like another couple weeks before I have shop set up and can start really posting again.
