Subject: How do you set up for Apocalypse? Like this.....
Just a couple of pics of a game that I just hosted in Bristol this weekend.
I've got a few in game ones and some with better light as well but I thought I'd just chuck this up and see if you want more.
The table measures 12ft 6in X 6ft
Cheers.

I'll chuck up some in game pics tomorrow, it looks a lot messier as it was a bit of a toysmash, 16k per side, Eldar. Dark Eldar, Chaos VS Nids, Ad Mech, IG, SW.

Good luck with that.

May I ask... I've seen that backdrop before. Is that something you can buy or are my eyes decieving me. I seen it in a Yogscast video. It's identical.
Such a nice setup though.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.
It doesn't just look like the bridge of the SS RimHopper, it is! I often do prop and setbuilding work for them and built this in my studio for them to play with.
I liked the end result so just kept it mainly intact. I also built the models of the ships featured in the videos. I must stress that I had nothing to do with the costumes!!!!
For those that don't know the Yogscast are Youtube company that normally play computer games, they occasionally do other fun stuff here's a link to the 24 episode roleplay session that took place in that set.

@The Grumpy Eldar: Yeah, it is fun, wish they did a few more of these out of office skits as they don't come up too often for me. They're not always that loud.
Here's a few in game and action shots, I may do some another post with pics of the terrain itself and the rest of my collection soon as I've got a few bits to work on in the not too distant future.
Thanks for all the kind words guys.

It was a great game to be involved in and an amazing environment, Angraath surfing the heirodule was a highlight.
Got to apologise again for dropping a tape measure on the daemonettes that were kindly lent to me whilst measuring to see if the bikers could charge a tank I hadnt realised was terrain. ahaha

Cheers Randy, yeah, that'd be ace. Whenever you're ready, although my weekends are filling up fairly quickly with festivals, birthdays and weddings what with it being 'summer'.

Have you fixed it yet. How's the novella/battle report going that you promised that you said that you would do?
Ratius wrote:That Heirodule looks deeply unhappy being ridden around like that
Seems like it was the only one unhappy about it, judging by the positive comments and the lols we had during the game about it.
Runic wrote:I would never leave this gaming room. I would hide under the table with a mattress and food.
You're welcome to, just bring enough food for all, one of the highlights/lowlights was being ripped from our immersion to go to a, not very 'tired' nerd friendly, local pub to watch a member of the group devour three meals before the rest of us had even received our food.
Cheers for the rest of the lovely comments guys.
