Now I know I won't have much to show....as nothing is REALLY built yet....BUT I've been working on building bases! and the Cadre Fireblade (I gotta figure out how to mount a firewarrior head instead of his bare head), partially build crisis suit, what a horride model...can't wait for the new ones to pop up, I have 7 tanks to build (one skyray, 2 hammerheads, 3 devilfish and enough bits to make the devilfish into "fighting fish" SMS and whatnot) 2 riptides, 2 broadsides, 2 boxes of pathfinders, 36-48 firewarriors, 50 pairs of pathfinder legs to use on the firewarriors instead of the horrid firewarrior legs...I have my work cut out for me....but tonight I'm working on bases!

Here is what I've done so far....12 bases, going for a abandoned ancient desert temple kinda vibe...sand....flagstone looking plastic card of 2 different heights...and the larger bases will have those broken columns you can pick up from secret weapon miniatures....I just kinda had them, onto the pic, and I'll post more in a bit working on placement for the riptide base as we speak

There the base is trimmed and I'm starting to rough up the surface and cut and angle on the inside of the tiles....work in progress...comment away

I'm glad you like them....it's alot of work...but it's satisfying too you know? Here's the base all ready for sand to be glued down and have the pillars finalized...I might put the riptide standing on it, or put in smaller stuff and have him posed around it....on it seems easiest cause it might be a pain to mount through the sand....since a riptides feet are hollow inside....suppose I can fix that with greenstuff....I have to go get more

The second pic is something I want to do...it's someone elses work but I like the idea....what do you guys think?

And the 3rd pic is a blue tac firewarrior torso on those pathfinder sgt legs...I'm not sure what weapon pose to use for that...the one where he's holding the gun up in the air is really awkward....I'll figure something out...but he's posed on one of my new bases...I like it
